Art of Living Happiness Programme An art of 'living happiness' programm' for the youth was conducted at MILIT from 04 July to 07 July 2022. In present day scenario of stressed lives, if this technique is utilised, it gives one immense calmness and vision to focus on various activities without being stressed. It also helps one to connect deeply and easily with others, effectively reduces stress and makes people deal on the different activities differently. The aim of this event was to lead a healthy life style.

Trek to Sinhgad Fort A trek to Sinhgad Fort was conducted on 23 Jul 2022. The aim of the trek was to inculcate a spirit of advertise, sportsmanship and physical fitness. In addition, this opportunity was utilised to spread awareness about 75th anniversary of India's Independence amongst the local populace. On reaching the top after an adventurous hike, the officers were briefed on the historical importance of the fort and its strategic location. The famous battle, which was fought on the fort was also briefed to the officers. All thoroughly enjoyed the serene climate and beautiful weather atop the fort and enroute.

Mountain Biking Mountain Biking - "Pedal Pushers" - 90 Kms for Cyclists was conducted on 23 Jul 22. The Mountain Biking was flagged off in two batches. The distance for the biking was 40 km one way with moderate difficulty level. The ride on bicycles started from Drona officers Mess and covered Bettati Junction, Kodamalai, Wellington Gymkhana & back. The scenic lush green views, low clouds, fog and countryside of Nilgiris made the event memorable. The local population was very co-operative and the cyclists bonded well with the environment.

Tree Plantation Drive Tree plantation was conducted in National Defence Academy on 24 Jul 2022 to foster environmental awareness - officers, JCOs, families and children enthusiastically participated in the said event.

Eco Club CDM, Secunderabad conducted a Tree Plantation Drive on 01 Jul as part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' based on the themes of 'Action @ 75' and 'Resolve@75' towards Eco-consciousness. Children of Eco Warrior Club aies led the initiative oo to single use plastic towards enhancing ecological social awareness.

'Ideas@75'. An online interaction with Dr Ganesh Rao on 'Relevance of Ancient Indian Knowledge to Enhance National Security' ws conducted by College of Defence Management on 08 Jul 2022. All participant officers of HDMC 18 and the faculty attended the online interaction.

A talk on 'Thoughts of Thirukural on Strategic Management and National Security' by DR B Mahadevan was conduced at CDM on 26 Jul 22. The speaker highlighted tenets of strategy, operations, leadership, intelligence, attributes of a strong military and also correlated teachings in Thirukural.

'Resolve@75' An 'Art of Living' capsule was conducted by Mrs Priya Menon, who has been an acclaimed AOL instructor for 13 years with International faculty of AOL Foundation. The capsule comprised of three sessions each spanning over three days.

Ecological Conservation 'Friends of Snakes' CDM, Secunderabad conducted a Tree Plantation Drive on 01 Jul as part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' based on the themes of 'Action @ 75' and 'Resolve@75' towards Eco-consciousness. Children of Eco Warrior Club and ladies led the initiative on Go-Green & pledged to say no to single use plastic towards enhancing ecological social awareness.

Theatre Play on 'Noorjahan' A dramatical play by the theatre group 'Ruchika' emphasizing on women social status on the concept of Freedom@75 and role of women in the historical era was conducted by CDM on 30th and 31st July 22.

Kargil Vijay Diwas A Tri-Services Wreath Laying Ceremony, was organized on 26 Jul 2022 by HQ ARC at Bayonet Chowk, where Lt Gen Ajai Singh, AVSM, CINCAN and Col Godara (Retd), senior most veteran present, paid homage to the Kargil War Heroes. The event was witnessed by Officers, JCOs and OR from all three services.

Idea and Innovation Competition 2022 The final selection for Idea and Innovation Competition, 2022 was conducted at Dweepika on 21 Jul 22. INS Utkrosh was awarded 3rd Prize for setting up of brush change facility for hydraulic motor - Dornier and INS Cora Divh was awarded a consolation prize for modification of fixed educator system.

Lecture on Mental Health Training of UMHRCs and AMAs was conducted on 21 Jul 22 regarding mental health assistance resilience and training.

Lecture on Suicide Prevention. A lecture on suicide prevention was conducted on 22 Jul 22 for ANC personnel. The lecture was conducted professionally and received a very positive response.

Tsunami Practice Drill A Tsunami Practice Drill was carried out on 16 Jul 22 to validate the Tsunami SOP and to keep the personnel updated with the procedure. Overall coordination was carried out by Crisis Management Group, which ensured that all personnel of the station are alerted in time, disciplined and maintain orderly conduct at the congregation point. Effective liaison was carried out with civil agencies towards distribution of post disaster relief materials.
